Welcome to MLS! It's hard to believe that it's already October! The ground was covered with a thick frost this morning and the leaves are in peak foliage! Just beautiful!

As dormparents, we thought it would be a fun idea to have an online blog for you to check out all the excitement of dorm life in MLS. We've already had many memorable moments and the year is really just beginning!

Dorm Parent Introductions:

Scott and Lindsey Allenby


We are both truly enjoying our first year at Proctor Academy! Lindsey is teaching US History and is coaching Girls Varsity Soccer and JV Basketball. Scott works in the Learning Skills department and is coaching Boys Varsity Soccer and Basketball. We both graduated from Gordon College in Wenham, MA where Lindsey was a member of the Women's Soccer and Basketball teams and Scott was a member of the Men's Basketball team.

We just got married in June and are thrilled to be settling in this beautiful area. Lindsey grew up here in Andover, NH and Scott grew up in the small town of Proctor, VT.


Mark Tremblay

Mark is also a first year teacher here at Proctor. He is teaching English and is coaching Boys JV Basketball and Varsity Baseball. He graduated from Trinity College in CT where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. Mark recently got engaged to Kyle, who teaches in the Learning Skills department and is the Dance Instructor on campus.

THE HAIRCUTTING FIASCO

For the first few weeks of school, no one quiet knew what Ian looked like.

One night he asked Dave to cut his hair...

Unfortunately, Dave got fired...

and Scott had to take over...
