Fall Family Weekend 2007

We have had an incredibly beautiful fall this year with bright, crisp fall leaves and relatively warm, sunny weather.

Fall Family Weekend fell on a gorgeous weekend this year. Everyone thoroughly seemed to enjoy the Dessert Social held on Friday night in the MLS Common Room. Here are some pictures of the event...

We had beautiful fall decorations...

Tyler's mother, Holly, made delicious hot fudge and caramel sauces...

The common room freezer is still overflowing with ice cream!

Johnathan Grimmel's mother, Patricia, made these delicious candy apples!!!

We had enough toppings to satisfy even the pickiest sundae eater...

Brooks is already wearing his Halloween t-shirts, and was psyched about the Apple Cider...

A Special Night in MLS

We had a very special visit from Edna this week. Edna has worked in the kitchen here at Proctor Academy for the last 35 years and makes the world's best waffles!

Edna drove to MLS from her house following study hall on Tuesday night and brought three waffle irons with her!

We organized some fixings for the boys to top off their waffles...

And following study hall...the boys started to come down to join in the fun...Here Tyler, Matt and Dave get ready...

Dave helped Matt fix up his waffle...

and helped Edna with the cooking (He's a great dorm leader!)...

Matt...

Jake...

Mansfield wasn't sure if he wanted to focus on his rubiks cube or on his waffle!

Jon was very content...

The Waffle Irons were working hard...

Ripley told me he never smiles in pictures...I'll catch him one of these days...

Griffin showing off his plate...

John actually finished this whole waffle...impressive!

We saw lots of happy faces on Waffle night...

Here's Andrew...

Dylan...

Louis (he was happy too! I just caught him off guard! :)...

Harris hunkered right down on the floor to enjoy his waffles...

Even the dorm parents got in on the action!
